Every day in rural Texas, animals are abandoned, neglected, injured, and left without access to even the most basic veterinary care. Shelters are overwhelmed, rescues are stretched beyond capacity, and far too many families simply cannot afford preventative care for their pets.At Gunner’s Mission, we believe prevention is where real change begins.We are working to open a low-cost vaccine, spay, and neuter clinic focused on helping reduce overpopulation, prevent suffering before it starts, and provide affordable care to the communities that need it most.
